Want More Books to Read?
Apr 10th

Many people want more out of their iPods, iPhones, and now iPads, since all of them are great devices to read books and articles.
So to get more books (for Free) you can visit Project Gutenberg, where you can find over 30,000 books to download on your PC or Mac, since Project Gutenberg offers books that have expired copyrights, and that’s what makes them free.
Now if you already have a PDF and want to convert it to ePub format, you can download Calibre, which is a free converting application that works on Macs, Windows, and Linux.
Now here is the best part, let’s say you find a cool article online that you want to read later, you can use a great service called Instapaper, which gives so many tools and ways to save articles, and share them over many devices and formats.
You can get Instapaper Free App, or Instapaper Pro to get the articles on your iPhone or iPad. (Instapaper Pro is a “+” app which means it woks on the iPhone and iPad as well, with two unique interfaces, so that by itself is worth the money.
Personally I have been using the free version, till I saw how the Pro version looks, and switched to it, all I can say is I really love it.
Enjoy reading, and share the knowledge.

IKEA iPhone Catalogue
Dec 7th
IKEA UK has released a free iPhone catalogue app that allows you to browse their latest catalogue on your iPhone or iPod touch. The app lets you zoom in on pictures and flip through the pages.
This all sounds great, but here is what we need to be added, a way to tag the images so that when you click on something it shows you more details and options, and the other thing is to rollout copies of the app for other countries.
Watch the video to get an idea of how it works.
iLingual for iPhone
Dec 7th
These days you go offline for 2 hours and a bombshell of an app drops, this is one of those apps that make all iPhone users proud, while giving haters another great example of what this amazing communication device can do.
Emirates (yes the airlines) have just came out with six new iPhone apps, that are designed to help you while traveling, by replacing your mouth…
Here is how this works you take a picture of your mouth, then when you need to say something in one of three languages (Arabic, French, or German) all you do is pick the sentence and place the iPhone in front of your mouth, and it will do its magic by animating your mouth to say the words or sentences.
There are 6 flavors of this app:
English to French, English to Arabic, English to German, plus another 3 light versions to download over 3G, just incase you need the app on the spot and can’t find WiFi access (pretty nifty).
Watch the video and you will get exactly what I’m talking about. You can get those apps now for FREE [iTunes Link].
Cry Translator for iPhone
Dec 7th

Another iPhone app that’s task is to translate what your baby’s cries mean, the app identifies within 10 seconds five distinct cries made by infants which could mean that the baby is hungry, sleepy, annoyed, stressed or bored. These five cries are universal to all babies regardless of culture or language.

Cry Translator is available on the iTunes App Store for $9.99, you can read more about the company by visiting their site.
Sometimes I really wonder where they get these ideas from.

The Dawn of the Augmented Reality Apps
Aug 27th
I really love to see the latest technologies, and ways to integrate them in our daily lives.
This Metro Paris Subway app (Supports English, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish) for the iPhone is a dream, watch the video to the end and imagine the possibilities.
UPDATE: The web is buzzing with a new word, and more apps are showing on the iTunes store. Now the buzz is AR Apps (Augmented Reality Applications).Another app came out called London Bus the does almost the same thing as the Metro Paris one, but for London instead. these types of ARs could change the way we travel and explore our new surroundings forever, and that is what I love about this technology.
